During the analysis period spanning from 1980 to 2016, we calculate independent scores for perceived temperature, cloud cover, and total precipitation for each hour between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM every day. These scores are then combined into a single composite score for each hour, which is further aggregated into daily averages across all the years in the analysis period. These daily averages are then smoothed.

Our cloud cover score ranges from 10 for completely clear skies, gradually decreasing to 9 for mostly clear skies, and reaching a minimum score of 1 for entirely overcast skies.

The precipitation score is based on the three-hour precipitation centered on the hour in question, with a score of 10 indicating no precipitation. This score linearly decreases to 9 for trace precipitation and ultimately drops to 0 for 0.04 inches of precipitation or more.

Our tourism temperature score starts at 0 for perceived temperatures below 50°F, increases linearly to 9 at 65°F, reaches its peak at 10 for 75°F, then decreases linearly to 9 at 80°F, and falls to a minimum of 1 for temperatures of 90°F or higher.

Similarly, our beach/pool temperature score begins at 0 for perceived temperatures below 65°F, rises linearly to 9 at 75°F, reaches a maximum score of 10 at 82°F, and decreases linearly to 9 at 90°F, with a minimum score of 1 for temperatures of 100°F or above. Fulani,Gengle,Koma,Kugama,Kumba,Mboi,Mumuye,Verre,Bata
